Answer: The rings attach by looping the strap over the bar. They come with an installation guide but not an exercise guide.

Answer: Yes, use the straps to attach the rings to the bars.
Question: Where exactly on the joist should the bolts be located? As high as possible? Somewhere in the middle?
Answer: It depends on the type of joist and the height you wish to install the pull up bar. We would recommend installing it near the middle.

Question: on your web site the JMPpkg shows a mounting bar lenght of 12 inches but the JMP alone shows a mounting bar lenght of 15 inches. I would prefer the longer one but wanted to make sure there is actually a difference and that it is not just a typo on the dimensions. Please let me know so I can order the correct one
Answer: The JMPpkg image is old and needs to be replaced. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The length is 15 inch for all JMP and JMPpkg.
